8 Must Try Disneyland Halloween 2026 Food Items

Disney’s annual Halloween celebration is in full swing at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. There’s a lot of new and returning special seasonal food items to try. In today’s post we’re going to show you 8 must try Disneyland Halloween 2026 food items.

Matcha Mickey-shaped Waffles – Schmoozies – Disney California Adventure – $10.99

Everyone loves Mickey waffles. They’ve been a highlight of many family trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World for decades. Occasionally Disney will turn things up to 11 and fill Mickey waffles with some sort of goo and sprinkle a topping on them. This Halloween season’s goo is banana custard. I’m a huge sucker for banana goo, so that along with the matcha powder topping made these Mickey waffles elite. Don’t miss out on this one.

Taro Bread Pudding – Aunt Cass Cafe – Disney California Adventure – $7.99

You see a lot of hyperbolic statements in the Disney blogsphere. “Best ever” or “worst ever” is thrown around a lot. The taro bread pudding IS one of the best Disney desserts ever. You get that mild sweet potato/nutty taste that mixes perfectly with the coconut-vanilla sauce. An added bonus is the boba tapioca pearls on top. Wonderful stuff.

Birria Potato – Refreshment Corner – Disneyland – $14.99

Disneyland has had some great baked potatoes over the last decade or so. This particular one is filled with beef birria and pepper sack cheese, and topped with salsa verde and served with a side of consomé. The serving size of birria is generous, which makes this an easy item to share with a friend or lover. It’s tasty too.

Apple Pie Sundae – The Golden Horseshoe – Disneyland – $11.79

Golden Horseshoe’s Apple Pie Sundae includes a slice of apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, cinnamon streusel, whipped cream and a cherry. You may be thinking this is kind of boring, after all it is just apple pie with vanilla ice cream. But there’s something so satisfying about sitting in Frontierland and chowing down on warm apple pie as you people watch and see the Mark Twain riverboat float by.

Oktoberfest Dog – Award Wieners – Disney California Adventure – $11.99

The Oktoberfest Dog includes pork cheddar sausage, is topped with sauerkraut, caraway seeds, and cheesy beer mustard sauce and is served on a soft pretzel bun. As I sat in the Award Wieners seating area in the shadow of Mickey’s PhilharMagic, I bit into the Oktoberfest Dog and got a blast of flavor that almost knocked my head back. It’s delicious, and it’s made even better by the soft pretzel bun. Pretzel buns instantly make any hot dog or sandwich ten times better. Skip everything else at Award Wieners and get this instead.

Chicken Pot Pie Soup Bread Bowl – Aunt Cass Cafe – Disney California Adventure – $13.99

Disneyland bread bowls are hearty and delicious. Also, the bread is made fresh on site so it’s extra soft and fluffy. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup is my personal favorite of any park’s seasonal bread bowls and I go out of my way to get it every year. The soup itself is rich and creamy, and tender chunks of chicken make this one of the best savory Halloween food items.

Fresh-baked Pumpkin Cookies – Harbour Galley – Disneyland – $8.49 for 6, $14.49 for 12

There’s not much that needs to be said about these. They’re made fresh throughout the day. They’re warm, perfectly soft and chewy, and glorious in every way. Like Harbour Galley’s Fresh-baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, the pumpkin variety are extremely popular and it’s not uncommon for them to sell out. Be sure to grab these earlier in the day.

BooGogi Beef Toasted with Corn Cheese Soup – Jolly Holiday Bakery – Disneyland – $15.99

A returning favorite from last few year’s of Halloween food lineups is the Boogogi Toasted Sandwich. It’s filled with marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella and kimchi aïoli on sourdough bread. It’s not anything fancy or inventive, but it’s a hearty meal that will fill you up. The included Corn Cheese Soup is also pretty good.

What’s your favorite Disneyland Halloween food item? What are you looking forward to trying? Let us know in the comments.

I found this write up way more appealing than the list that everyone reposts when the menus are released.

These all sound very good! I am struggling waiting for the heat to die down to make a visit. Thanks for the incentive!
