Best WDW Bets for National Hamburger Day
May 28 is National Hamburger Day, but you don’t need to dig out your grill if you’re at Walt Disney World. There are plenty of places for you to get more than just a “normal” theme park burger. Here are some favorites.
Beaches and Cream
Yes, you’re going there for the ice cream, but you wouldn’t want to have dessert without a good meal, right? The burgers at Beaches and Cream are simply delicious–like a really good diner-style burger. And although it is tempting to clean the plate, we do have to remind you that you will need to save room for that dessert!
Splitsville
Consistently, Disney Springs has amazing food, and Splitsville is a solid offering among other giants. Confession time: I’ve never actually bowled there, but I’m there often for the food. Reasonably priced and delicious, Splitsville is a family favorite. And in the category of “something for everyone”, they offer the Impossible Burger for your vegetarian friends and family.
D-Luxe Burger
Also at Disney Springs, D-Luxe Burgers is a more obvious choice for burgers. What really shines here are the unique toppings, including fried green tomato, smoked Gouda, and fried banana peppers. Make sure to get fries with one of their specialty dipping sauces to round out your meal. (My personal favorite is the Garlic Ranch, which also goes great on the burger!)
What’s the best burger you’ve ever had at Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments.
Bison Burger at Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge) was outstanding!
The Paris restaurant in Epcot had a fabulous burger in a brioche bun. I don’t think they have it anymore, I checked their menu a couple weeks ago and it isn’t listed anymore. It was a family favorite for us!!
We are staying at Yacht Club in late August. I know Beaches and Cream will be closed for renovations then. But do you know if they are keeping any quick service options open? And/or do any of the associated Beach Club/ Stormaway Bay restaurants serve the same cheeseburger? I know my burger loving kids would love to try it. Thanks!
PS. Also following along to hear of others favorite WDW burgers.
By all means, go to B&C for dessert/ice cream/kitchen sink. But don’t waste your time on it for actual food. If you want a burger and fries, go to DLuxe or virtually anywhere else. The food is subpar, at best.
