Universal Epic Universe Opens May 22, 2025

Years in the making, five years since its announcement, and 10 months of hype building, Universal has announced that Universal Epic Universe theme park opens May 22, 2025.

Universal Epic Universe is Universal Orlando Resort’s new, third theme park. Epic Universe combines industry-leading design and state-of-the-art technology to create an unparalleled theme park experience. Universal Studios Florida has themed lands, Islands of Aventure is denoted by islands, while Epic Universe has immersive worlds. There are five worlds at Epic Universe, all accessed through the large portals.

Our adventure starts in ⭐️ Celestial Park, the park’s hub, where we find park necessities and a few rides – the Constellation Carousel and Stardust Racers. ⭐️ Super Nintendo World brings Mario and Donkey Kong to life with the interactive dark ride Mario Kart Boswer’s Challenge and rollercoaster Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness. The world of monsters comes alive in ⭐️ Dark Universe, inspired by Universal’s legacy of horror, including a trip into Frankenstein’s Castle in Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. Transport yourself to a magical 1920s Paris, France at ⭐️ The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic where guests can shop and explore Place Cachée or take the Floo Network to the British Ministry of Magic on the thrill ride Harry Potter and the Battle for the Ministry. Discover a world where humans and dragons live in harmony in ⭐️ How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk where guests can experience the thrills of flying like a dragon on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders or watch the stage show The Untrainable Dragon.

Epic Universe is approximately 3 miles south of the Universal Orlando theme parks. The south campus with Epic Universe has three hotels – the Helios Grand Hotel at the back of the theme park and the sister hotels Stella Luna and Terra Nova across the street.

Tickets for Epic Universe go on sale next week with select multiday and single-day tickets for Annual Passholders. Single day tickets for all will become available in the months leading to the park opening.

Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel also opens on May 22, 2025, with reservations beginning October 22, 2024.
