Tickets to Disney’s H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon are on sale today for Resort guests. Tickets open to everyone on April 24, 2026. Never been? Thinking of going? Read on!

What is an H2O Glow After Hours?

H2O is a 3-hour, ticketed event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. This is a nighttime event held on select nights through the summer and is not included with any other water park ticket or water park benefit. There are no current packages or tickets that include this event – you must purchase a separate ticket.

Typhoon Lagoon will be open during the day as usual and will have extended evening hours on H2O party days. Although the party only lasts 3 hours, from 8:00pm – 11:00pm, H2O guests are allowed to enter the park at 6:00pm. This is similar to other after hours and special ticket events (like Not-So-Scary and Very Merry) where you get a few hours in the park to get started.

2026 H2O Dates & Prices

  • June 2, 13, 19, and 27
  • July 3, 7, 17, 24, and 31
  • August 9, 22, and 29
  • September 5

Tickets cost $85 – $89 per ticket, + tax. Prices vary by date and Annual Passholder, DVC Member, and Water Park Season Passholders will receive a 20% off discount.

What’s Included with Your Ticket?

Low Waits, Dancing, Music, and Characters: We’ve been to lots of H2O Glow nights and anyone wanting to ride their favorite Typhoon Lagoon slides without long waits will have a great time. The crowds will gather at the Board Room / Surf Pool Beach the entire evening. This is where a DJ plays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm and characters come out to dance with guests. Last year they had a meet and greet set up behind Happy Landings, which is just down the path from the Surf Pool Beach.

Included Snacks & Beverages: The frozen snacks and popcorn go the way of the park after hours events. There are at least 3 frozen treat options, like the ones pictured above, and small boxes of popcorn. In years past, there are always at least 3 snack stations around the park. They open right at 8:00pm and you may enjoy unlimited snacks until the party ends at 11:00pm as long as you have on a party wristband. Drinks are the standard Coke products and water. Alcoholic beverages and quick service food will be available for purchase, too.

Even if the evening is cool, the water is heated and Castaway Creek, Typhoon Lagoon’s lazy river, will be loaded with special tubes for the party. Floating around on a sparkly dragon makes the ticket price feel more reasonable, no?

Beachcomber Shacks

You can rent a Beachcomber Shack during the H2O event for a fee.

  • Standard Shacks are $115 +tax and can accommodate up to 10 guests / 6 cushioned seats
  • Deluxe Shacks are $215 +tax and can accommodate up to 12 guests / 8 cushioned seats
  • Premium Shacks are $225 +tax and can accommodate up to 10 guests / 6 cushioned seats

We’ve rented Beachcomber Shacks a few times during H2O Glow After Hours and wouldn’t spend the money again unless we had very small children or other folks who needed a comfortable place to rest and the other amenities. Having an attendant to deliver food (extra charge) is nice, but the party is only 3 hours long and you likely won’t want to spend it in your Shack.

Quick Tips

  • Bring warm clothes for the bus ride home! Especially if you aren’t going to shower at Typhoon Lagoon! A cold, wet bathing suit on a cold bus will bring down that party vibe real fast.
  • You don’t need towels! Towels are included with your ticket so grab a bunch on your way in.
  • Bring glow sticks or glow bracelets for the youngest folks in your party. The DJ area around the Surf Pool is well lit, but it’s still a water park at night and some of the pathways get pretty dark.

We love this event and will be going a few times this year. Will we see you there??

  • Sounds fun! What happens if you get rained out?

Hi Melissa, Thanks for reading our blog! The short answer is, it depends. I’ve been on nights when it rained all evening but nothing closed because there was no lightning in the area. It made enjoying Mickey Bars difficult. If there is lightning in the area, guests will be told to take shelter. Only guests in Beachcomber Shacks may stay in their spots and everyone else needs to head to a common area until the lightning has passed. This means no hanging out under umbrellas or riding out the storm in the sand at your chair. In cases where a good bit of your night is spent hiding out from the weather, you can head for Guest Services to ask what they can do. There is no guarantee, but we’ve heard of guests getting replacement tickets and even a refund. Note that we weren’t able to verify this on our own, so it’s best to just check with Guest Services if that happens. The good news is, our summer storms are usually over quickly. This is an event I’ve spent my own money on many times over the years and will again. I hope you get to go and have an excellent time! -Chrissy
