Blue Man Group Returns to Orlando at ICON Park

Orlando theater fans should no longer be blue, the popular Blue Man Group show returns to Orlando with a new show and new venue. After closing in 2021, concluding a 14-year run at Universal Orlando, this popular show returns to ICON Park in a new custom theater. Find out all the details inside!

Blue Man Group is an all-ages troupe that blends music, humor, and audience interaction into a high-tech theatrical show. The show focuses on themes of connections and technology as the Blue Man discovers the world of rock concert movements or explores how the human vision system works. The three Blue Men that lead the show, each covered in black garb and Klein blue grease paint, discover the world around them without ego – from instruments made of PVC to crunchy cereal and paint. A backing band of drummers and guitarists round out the soundscape and provide a live comedic accompaniment to the slapstick. Guests interaction is core to the Blue Man Group show experience, from dancing with others to possibly going on stage (don’t worry, you’ll be asked before the show starts). With a new venue comes new material, including music and skits, that we cannot wait to check out. We highly recommend the show to everyone, including anyone who saw it in Universal Orlando before it closed in 2020.

Blue Man Group Orlando is opening in late 2024 or early 2025 at the ICON Park in a new, custom-designed 500-seat theater. The theater entrance will be off the Universal Boulevard side of ICON Park. Blue Man Group joins the Orlando Eye, SeaLife Orlando, and Madame Tussauds Orlando attractions at ICON Park.
