Disney Cruise Line Announces Marvel Sailings For 2025
Disney Cruise Line has announced that Marvel Day at Sea will return in early 2025.
You’ll find the Marvel sailings on the Disney Dream, on select 5-night itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale. Marvel enhancements will be found on the Dream’s Bahamian sailings on January 27, February 10, February 24, and March 10, and on the Dream’s Western Caribbean sailings on February 1, February 15, March 1, and March 15 of next year.
Marvel sailings include special photo ops and visits with characters including: Spider-Man, Thor, Loki, Black Panther, Shuri, Captain Marvel, Star-Lord, Gamora, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man, the Wasp, two variations of Captain America, and more. You’ll also find special Marvel-themed food in the main dining rooms.
Themed activities include Marvel trivia, animation classes where you can learn to draw Marvel characters, Marvel film screenings in the theaters and on the ship’s giant Funnel Vision screen, Marvel-themed adventures in the onboard youth clubs, costume contests, live shows, and a themed fireworks presentation. I’ve seen Disney Cruise Line fireworks presentations dozens of times. My personal assessment is that the Marvel Day at Sea Show is the best one, and it’s not even close.

Marvel Day at Sea is always on a sea day. I took a quick look and it appears that there is only one sea day on your cruise, so that’s when it will be. Pirate Night is trickier; the two methods I know of to determine which day is pirate night in advance are 1) Ask if your travel agent can find out 2) Write to PlanDisney about your specific cruise. And if you are close enough to your cruise to see Pirates League appointments in the onboard activities, they will only be offered on Pirate Night.
You may also find information on various forums about which day is “typically” Pirate Night on cruises based on length, boat, and starting port, but it does depend on your specific itinerary.
Is there a marvel day for 2026?
Hi Teresa. Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced any Marvel sailings for 2026, though they have announced sail dates for the first half of that year. It’s possible that there will be Marvel themed sailings in the back half of 2026, or more likely, they will make announcement about 2026 themed sailings at another time. Disney has often announced itinerary dates and then later made announcements about themes like Marvel, Halloween, or Christmas cruises. I can’t promise anything, but I wouldn’t give up hope yet.
