Disney Cruise Line in a Jiffy: What is Adult Dining?
Disney Cruise Line uses the term “adult dining” to describe its restaurants that are only available to guests ages 18 and up. The Magic and Wonder each have one adult dining venue, Palo. The Dream and Fantasy also have Palo, plus a second adult restaurant, Remy. The Wish and Treasure each have two adult restaurants: Palo Steakhouse and the French venue Enchanté.
While there are no reservations required for Disney’s main restaurants, the “rotational dining” venues, the adult venues do require reservations. You can, and should make them as soon as your booking window opens. Booking widows open when your cruise is paid in full, based on your Castaway Club status. All the adult dining restaurants on Disney Cruise Line have an enhanced dress code that is basically business casual.
The food at Palo is Italian-themed. There is a $50 charge for a prix fixe, three course dinner or you may order a la carte. Palo Steakhouse is essentially Palo plus higher end steaks, pricing also starts at $50 for the prix fixe menu and goes up from there. Remy and Enchanté are French-themed and offer gourmet dining with impeccable service, similar to what you’d find at a Micheline-starred restaurant on land. Pricing for these restaurants starts at $135, with additional rates for supplementary items. Brunch and dinner are offered at these venues, as well as some extra events like dessert tastings. Alcohol is available at all adult dining locations for an additional fee.
