Ahoy, mateys! I’m Heather, and I’ll be bringing you the up and coming on all things Disney Cruise Line. Welcome back again this week. Let’s see what’s new in the DCL world!
I’ll give you one guess on what the main news topic is this week. I don’t even need to tell you that it starts with C and ends with -ancellations, do I? Here we go again!
Remember last week when the fate of the Magic’s summer in Europe was in question after the cancellation of the Eastbound Transatlantic? The first repercussions have been announced. The first three Mediterranean cruises of the season have been cancelled. The affected dates are:
- May 23, 7-night Mediterranean
- May 30, 7-night Mediterranean
- June 6, 7-night Mediterranean
Will the European sailings commence with the highly anticipated June 13 return to the Greek Isles? Only time will tell…
And of course, as per the new usual, the same refund or 125% Future Cruise Credit offer applies for those who have had their cruise cancelled by Disney.
With each wave of cancellations, I can’t help but find myself pining more and more to be back onboard any one of these gorgeous ships! And I know I am not the only one. In fact, Tammy has compiled a list of the 10 things she’s already looking forward to once we hear those words “all aboard” once again – does her list resonate with you?

Thanks for joining me again this week. “Sea” you next time!
