Disney in a Minute: What is Cinderella Fountain?

We’re here with a series of quick posts, “Disney in a Minute,” bite-sized nuggets of information that can better help you understand a Disney term or planning topic. Enjoy!

Behind the castle at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom you’ll find a sweet, but unassuming statue of Cinderella. Look for it near the entrance to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

In the whiz-bang technicolor madness that is the Magic Kingdom the statue, centered in a tiny fountain, appears mundane enough to pass by without a second glance.

But if you’re traveling with a princess-loving youngster, take a moment to stop in front of the statue and kneel down to their level. You’ll see that the crown painted on the wall behind the statue is now perfectly positioned on Cinderella’s head. It’s a bit of magic that you’ll at Disney World only if you look at something with the eyes of a child.
