Disney World Prices Inflated A Bit Today
It’s an annual event, every year in October … Disney World raises a bunch of prices. Increases range from 30¢ for a cup of soda at resorts, to $100 for the most expensive Annual Pass. We won’t cover every tour, character meal, snack, or menu item that went up. But let’s take a look at some of the highlights, including regular tickets and Annual Passes.
Disney World Annual Pass Increases
All four Disney World Annual Passes went up. Prices shown below are pre-tax.
- Incredi-Pass: $1,549 (formerly $1,449)
- Sorcerer: $1,079 (formerly $999)
- Pirate: $829 (formerly $799)
- Pixie Dust: $469 (formerly $439)
The Pixie Dust and Pirate passes are only for Florida Residents, but the Sorcerer Pass can also be purchased by Disney Vacation Club Members who are eligible for Membership Extras. If you don’t fall into one of those categories, the Incredi-Pass is your only option.
Wondering if an Annual Pass is still (or is now) the right move for you? We’ll be updating our article When Is a Disney World Annual Pass Worth It? – Out of State Edition soon, but we don’t expect the answer to change much. That’s because the frequency of visits that justifies an Annual Pass hasn’t really changed in quite some time. And also because … tickets went up too.
Disney World Ticket Price Increases
Ticket prices in 2025 also increased today, but only in comparison to 2024. That’s because up until this morning, tickets were only available through October 31, and none of those previously available tickets changed price. But the peak seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas are in November and December 2025, so we can compare peak-to-peak to see increases.
At Animal Kingdom, the peak 1-day ticket price went from $164 in 2024 to $174 in 2025. Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom also saw $10 increases, from $184-194 and $189-199 respectively. But EPCOT made the biggest jump, with peak prices going from $179 to $194. Don’t they always tell you that kitchens and bathrooms will increase your home’s value? There you go, CommuniCore Hall raised the value of a peak season EPCOT ticket by $5.
January and September see the lowest prices of the year, so it won’t be possible to see what happened to the minimum prices until 2026 packages are released.
Most of the time, when Disney raises ticket prices, it’s still possible to get tickets at the old prices for a bit. Third-party authorized resellers will offer the pre-increase ticket prices until their stock of those tickets runs out. Since the increases here were only on tickets that were not offered for sale anywhere at all until today, that trick does not apply to these increases. Of course, you can still save money with our Least Expensive Ticket Calculator. Put in your dates and a bit of other info, and it will find the best-priced ticket that is available to you.
Other Increases
As we mentioned in the intro, this is a normal yearly event for Disney World. You can expect to see many “overnight” increases across the board. Individually most of them will be small — many less than a dollar — but over the course of your vacation, they’ll add up. And there’s mostly no getting away from them.
For example, we republished our Rapid Fill mug article on Monday, looking at the value of the cup in comparison to single-use paper cups in the food courts. Well, the price of the cups went up today, from $21.99 to $22.99. But don’t worry, so did the fountain beverage price, from $4.49 to $4.79. Coffee? Up 50¢ to $4.29. The number of fills to break even hasn’t changed in at least the last four years.
