Disney World Star Wars Docking Bay 7 Review

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a Quick Service dining location in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios.

Hours: Lunch 11am to 3pm, Dinner 3pm to 9pm

Getting There: Docking Bay 7 is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge next door to Ronto Roasters and across the courtyard from the Millennium Falcon.

Quick Facts: Mobile Order is available, indoor and outdoor seating.

Roasted Endorian Chicken Salad, $14.99

Marinated Chicken, Mixed Greens, Shaved Onion and Radish, Grapes, Tomato, and Cucumber in a Citrus-Pomegranate Vinaigrette with Spiced Yogurt Drizzle

This is one of the best theme park salads we’ve ever had. The portion is hefty, especially compared to the image on the app when you mobile order. The chicken is very well seasoned, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the dressing is light and delicious. The price tag is high but so are the quality and taste.

Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip, $16.29

Crispy Chicken served with Macaroni & Cheese and Roasted Harvest Vegetables

Other side options include: White Rice and Roasted Vegetables, or Double Macaroni & Cheese. These chicken tenders are lightly battered and fried crispy. This is the most simple option on the menu, especially if you opt for double mac & cheese and remove the tasty veg on the side. The chicken may be safe, but it’s very flavorful. We enjoy this dish but wish it came with more tenders for the price. Hence our lower rating.

7/10 One more tender on the plate would be grand.

Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato, $18.99

Smoky Beef braised in Tamarind Sauce served with Harvest Vegetables and Herbed Yuca

Side item options include: Harvest Veg and Herbed Yuca (as shown above), Macaroni and Cheese with Vegetables, and White Rice and Roasted  Vegetables.

The Tamarind Sauce is spicy but so very good! This dish is a nice twist on a delicious roast dinner! The yuca fries are giant and the veg is plentiful. Our smoky beef was very tender and slow cooked. The price is reasonable for the serving size and wonderful flavors.

Black Spire Mousse, $6.79

White Chocolate Jogan Fruit Mousse atop a Brownie Brittle served with Blue Milk Sauce, Pineapple Cream, and Hibiscus Sponge topped with a Chocolate Black Spire Coin

The Black Spire Mousse was originally designed for the Galactic Starcruiser, so it holds sentimental value for us. It doesn’t hurt that this is also a bunch of our favorite flavors on top of some brownie brittle! Well themed and small but the tart and sweet flavors make this easy to share and feel satisfied. The price point is decent and you can use a Disney Dining Snack Credit if you’re on the Dining Plan.

Liners rate Docking Bay 7 a 93%, Average, and rank it #30 out of 110 Quick Service dining locations in Walt Disney World. Over all, we agree with this rating. The one thing in our review today that we’d skip going forward is the chicken. The other dishes on our menu today were very good!
