Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Events & Crowd Calendar
The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is October 22 through October 25, 2026. We’ve put together a few slides to show what’s happening during the Half Marathon weekend, including corresponding crowd levels by park!
Thursday, October 22nd

If you’re visiting during the race weekend, you may want to consider purchasing tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. As of the date of this post, tickets are still available for the October 22nd party. Tickets for the 22nd start at $219 +tax. If you’re not interested in the party, our Crowd Calendar is showing low crowds in all four parks!
Wine & Dine 5K participants must attend the runDisney Expo on the 22nd to get their race bib, participant shirt, and any pre-purchased merch.
Check out our Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Touring Plan for Families with Small Children here.
Friday, October 23rd

Friday the 23rd is the first race of the weekend~ the Wine & Dine 5K! This year the race will start at 4:30am, 30 minutes earlier than last year. The 5k is hosted by The Aristocats in the France pavilion. Keep an eye out for a Crème de la Crème à la Edgar beverage and Pastry Crackers when you cross the finish line.
You can see crowd levels start to increase compared to the 22nd, but we’re still forecasting low numbers that should save you some money on Lightning Lanes.
Wine & Dine 10k participants must attend the runDisney Expo no later than the 23rd to get their race bib, participant shirt, and any pre-purchased merch.
There are still (as of the date of this post) tickets for Not-So-Scary on the 23rd, too. Tickets start at $224 +tax.
Saturday, October 24th

Saturday the 24th is the Wine & Dine 10k! The Three Caballeros are hosting the 10k celebration with tamales in the Mexico pavilion.
The Food & Wine Festival is still running in EPCOT and we see another uptick in crowd levels. The Magic Kingdom closes at 11pm on the 24th and there is no Halloween party that night ~ the perfect time to get in some evening rides as long as you aren’t running the next morning.
Wine & Dine Half Marathon participants must attend the runDisney Expo no later than the 24th to get their race bib, participant shirt, and any pre-purchased merch. Note the shorter hours for the Expo~ these are the remaining 4 hours.
Sunday, October 25th

Sunday the 25th is the Wine & Dine Half Marathon! Mary Poppins is hosting this race and will help you celebrate your finish with a cup of tea in the UK Pavilion.
Note the 10:00am opening time for EPCOT on the 25th. No worries if you’re racing though, because Post-Race Party ticket holders are allowed into the park at 5:00pm that evening for the celebration starting at 10:00pm. We expect crowds to be low in all four parks on the final race day, so you should be able to get in lots of rides no matter where you land.
Are you thinking about heading to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that night instead? As of the date of this post, tickets are still available for $224 +tax.
The Wine & Dine Challenge
The Disney Wine & Dine Challenge is made up of the 10k on Saturday the 24th and the Half Marathon on Sunday the 25th. Participants will need to be registered for both events to qualify for this challenge. Registration is closed.
Grumpy and pals are hosting the Challenge party in the Germany pavilion. Grab a pretzel after you collect your 3rd medal of the weekend!
Are you participating in any of the Wine & Dine races? Good luck to all of the runners!
