EPCOT Attraction Vehicles and Seating: A Disney World Guide

The seating situation on Disney World rides and attractions is a cause for concern for many guests. Physical constraints and family configuration are two of many reasons why you might have questions about the attraction seating.

For example:

  • I’m a single parent with two small children, will I be separated from them on rides?
  • I’m a plus-sized person, can I fit into the ride vehicles without embarrassment?
  • My knees are bad, will I have to step up or down to get into the ride vehicles?
  • I’m in a wheelchair, do I have to transfer out of it to go on the rides?
  • I have a large party, how will we be split up when visiting the attractions?
  • I have balance issues, will the attraction vehicle be moving while I’m trying to board?

To answer these questions and more, here’s a photo guide to all the vehicle and attraction seating at EPCOT at Walt Disney World. Pull down on that lap bar, we’re going for a ride…

  • Rode Guardians of the Galaxy ride for the first time this month and loved it. Being a plus size woman, I found the seats to be very comfortable and wide enough – unlike the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride.

  • Great resource. Disney should provide this in an appropriate guide. May be useful to add a note where people who must transfer from wheelchair or ECV pick up their equipment.

  • One thing missing from the review is viewing location for ECV. Some theaters have special ECV area which are less than optimal for viewing. Like 3 feet from the screen looking up nostrils or way in the back.
In those cases it was best to use a cane to go to a seat.

  • Thank you so much – this is a really great resource, particularly for those of us traveling with loved ones who use wheelchairs. I hope there will be similar articles for each of the the other three WDW parks!
