Hollywood Studios Construction: Photo Tour
Disney’s Hollywood Studios continues to be under renovation.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel is still accepting guests while they complete maintenance on the Sunset-facing exterior of the building. The iconic sign is uncovered and still photo ready!

We see more steel and higher scaffolding every time we cross this side of the park.

The future home of places like Harryhausen’s and the Glob Theater is always staffed with human guests when we’re stalking construction progress. We’re aware it’s going to be a few years before we’re able to walk through the gates, but it’s exciting to see things starting to come together.

There’s no hiding the view of Monstropolis construction from the Hollywood Studios parking lot!

The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is blocked off by mobile hedges as shown in the photo above. This location is still operational during renovations.

Seating for the The Lounge has moved to the patio that used to belong to the old Starring Rolls Cafe. More recently, this space has been a popular place to find characters coming onstage. There is still some general, non-Lounge seating, but the majority of the patio belongs to The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge until refurbishment is complete.
Are you old enough to have enjoyed a pastry or two at Starring Rolls after you ran down Sunset to get your paper FastPass for Tower of Terror?
