MagicBand Designs We Don’t Need (But Still Want)

I’m sure there’s many a Disney fan with a collection of MagicBands that they don’t know if they’ll ever use again. (How did I get so many of them anyhow?) Even though I don’t need another MagicBand, probably ever, Disney keeps making really cute designs that are tempting. Here’s some of what we spotted around Walt Disney World recently.

Designs include the colorful 2021 band, a band for Raya and The Last Dragon, Ratatouille, Up, Rainbow Unicorn (from Inside Out), and more. Prices range from $24.99 and up, and many of these designs (plus more) are available on shopDisney.

Do these new styles tempt you, or are you a hundred and done on MagicBands? Let us know what you think in the comments.

  • You can buy stickers and cases for them on Etsy!

  • Does the fact that they’re still making and selling these suggest that they would like to retain at least some elements of MyMagic+ in the medium-to-long term?

  • I always put the active part of the band into a keeper (bought from WDW but there are lots of other places eg Etsy that make them) and clip it onto my handbag. I find it more comfortable than having a plastic band around my wrist in the Florida heat and humidity. I keep looking for pretty patterns on that bit of the band but they are always just plain!
