Make-Your-Own Tiara in the Magic Kingdom

Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers in the Magic Kingdom offers an opportunity to design your very own tiara. Here is how it works and what it costs…

Crystal Arts is located on the east/right side of Main Street U.S.A., if you’re walking toward the Castle, just before you get to Starbucks. The front of the store has a gorgeous array of glass art, including nearly every Disney character you can name on plates, ornaments, and glasses. Head to the back right of the store, where you’ll be able to design countless fragile baubles in a rainbow of colors. That’s where you’ll find the tiara display. We decided on a rose gold tiara and even splurged for the velvet bag AND the royal pillow.

There are three tiara designs in two different color metals.

Pick Your Design

There are 3 different tiara styles, each available in either rose gold or silver. All of the designs are $89.00 each before tax and discounts. These are heavy, sturdy tiaras and not at all the plastic toy versions you’ll see all over the park near the princess gown displays.

There are several mirrors on the counter, and guests are encouraged to try on the sample tiaras to see which color and style they like best before they begin. Once you’ve selected your design, a Cast Member will direct you to a wooden gem guide in the pattern of your chosen tiara. Then you’ll be presented with a tray of different colored gems, and that’s when the fun begins.

Arrange Your Crystals

Guests select their crystals and make adjustments to color and order until they are happy with the layout. Once you’ve finalized your design, the Cast Member will begin making your tiara by fastening each crystal in the exact order you indicated on the wooden template. This is a speedy process and doesn’t require you to come back later to pick it up like some other personalized souvenirs do.

Choose Your Accessories

Once your tiara is complete, it will be polished and presented to you for approval. You may wear it out of the store after you pay, or you can opt for a blue velvet carrying bag to keep it safe from smudges and possible thievery. (Just kidding. But Eugene Fitzherbert IS in the Park after all…)

The bag is not included with your purchase and costs $5.00 before tax and discounts. If you’re feeling extra fancy like we were, you can also purchase the blue pillow as shown below.

The pillow is also not included with your purchase and costs $19 before tax and discounts. The entire process took just under 20 minutes, and we spent $108.31 for the tiara, pillow, and pouch after tax and our Annual Pass discount.

Shout out to our CM Hannah. She was so patient and helpful!
