Memory Maker One Day Now Available for Guests to Purchase

Disney has announced yet another change for Disney’s PhotoPass and Memory Maker. They’ve added the option for guests to purchase a brand new product called Memory Maker One Day.

PhotoPass1Day

With Memory Maker One Day, Guests can now purchase, download, and share your PhotoPass photos from just one single day of your visit to the parks. Memory Maker is a special photo package sold by Disney that allows for your whole family to be included in photos.

To take advantage of this new Memory Maker One Day, Guests simply need to have their family pictures taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers, who are found at various locations throughout the resort. With this new option, you will also be able to receive any on-ride photos or videos, as well as any special character meal images. Guests will only have access to that one day’s photographs though, so if you had Disney’s PhotoPass photographers take family portraits on different days, the Memory Maker One Day option wouldn’t be for you. Guests will then be able to download their photos when they return home or straight onto their smart devices.

There is one slight catch, in that Memory Maker One Day can only be purchased within the My Disney Experience app. (Which was recently updated to include for this change and the update can be made in either the iTunes store or Google Play store. .) The cost of Memory Maker One Day is $59.

Just a few days ago, Disney actually reduced the price of the regular Memory Maker overall. The advanced purchase option is $149 and the non-advanced purchase option is $169.

Memory Maker makes it easy to capture your vacation memories and now you have even more options to choose from.

  • Do you have to purchase the Memory Maker One Day in advance or the day of? If so, how far in advance can you purchase? Are you able to purchase 2 Memory Maker One Day passes?
If so, I agree with Chris’ comment that it would save money because on an upcoming trip I’m only going to be in the parks on 2 days and that’s it.

  • That’s very interesting. Can it be purchased after your trip for the same price?

  • So for a two day trip I could purchase the one day option twice and still save $30 over the regular Memory Maker advanced price?
