More Mobile Order Options Appear at Magic Kingdom

Arguably, one of the best changes at Walt Disney World since its 2020 reopening is the increased options for mobile order. Today, three more restaurants at Magic Kingdom were added to the mobile order options: Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland, Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland, and Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square.

We decided to give mobile order a try today at Sunshine Tree Terrace. Here’s our experience.

In the MyDisneyExperience app, click on the plus sign on the bottom and then select “Order Food”.

Next, select the restaurant and a time for your mobile order pickup. Because mobile order slots can fill up, placing your order early is a great option.

Then, simply select the items you want to order and then check out. One added benefit of mobile ordering is you can see menu options that were always available upon request, but not always listed on the menu board. (Like a Powerade float — who knew.) You can do a variety of customizations from mobile order, too.

When you arrive, open the app and select the “I’m here button” and simply wait your turn while your order is prepared.

When your order is ready, it will let you know which window to proceed to.

The numbers are clearly marked on the ground.

And just like that, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorites with minimal wait.

Are you excited for these additional locations for mobile order in Magic Kingdom? Let us know what you think in the comments.

  • I look forward to giving this a try next month. It seems like the responsible thing to do in the current environment, since contact is kept to a minimum. Now if only Columbia Harbor House can reopen in time…
