  • I will be there for the entire 24 hours and I’m looking forward to an official TouringPlans meetup!

  • I’m not going, but think it would be fun.
Curious if any special entertainment or activities have been planned and/or announced for this?

  • I will be following Justine into AK that day. Have small children along so 24 hours is out of the question for my group. But happy to be there no matter what the park hours!!!

  • So, when’s the TP meetup?

  • We will be in Disney World that day but I decided not to do MK that day. We Will be at AK 🙂

  • Oh how I wish I could go! I’ll be following along on the blogs and Lines chat. Will be there in June, though 🙂

  • Have the trip booked! Flying down with 3 other friends late Monday (2/27) and flying home late Saturday (3/3). Hubby is thinking of flying down late Tuesday and flying home on Thursday morning. I am planing on being in MK for all 24 hours. Everyone thinks I am crazy. I will just be getting home from a WDW trip on Jan 28 and heading back down a month later.

  • We are going on the 2nd of March, so I am trying to figure out how to move a few things around.

  • I want to know who the 8 people are who say they are going to both. This is the ideal time to do it and I envy them!

  • Probably, I’ll be at WDW. If it were any day but a Wednesday, it would be a no brainer. I have no problems justifying a four-day weekend. But to do 24 hours on a Wednesday, means I would need to fly in on Tuesday (at the latest) and pay for a room on Thursday. Who want’s to leave on a Thursday?

Added complication is that there is some remote possibility of a WDW Today 1000th episode event the weekend before, i.e., 2/25-26. That would mean flying down on the 24th (after work). At this point, I’m ready to quote The Clash. “Should I stay or should I go?” Or do I fly down twice? AGGHHHH!

  • If I could plan a last minute trip, I absolutely would. 🙁

  • Would go if I could.

  • I voted “yes” for DLR but that’s more like a “probably”. I am going to SO regret it if I don’t go, but it’d be relatively easy and inexpensive for me to get out there. So…hopefully.:)

  • Unfortunately for us teachers, this falls smack in the middle of the week! I don’t know how my principal would feel if I abandoned my students mid week to stay up all night in the Magic Kingdom. Luckily I will be able to live vicariously through all of TouringPlans tweets, FB updates, etc. Have a GREAT time!

  • What is going to be crowd estimate for that day? Feb 29 at Disneyland is still 2/10. With the recent event, I can’t imagine that estimate staying true!

  • I sooo want to go, but was lucky enough to go on two Disney World trips last year and am tapped out (traveling from Toronto can be pricey.) The Touring Plans were invaluable, of course. Ideally, I’ll one day be in a place where I can visit twice a year at least, but for now it’s not worth going into debt for. I’d love to go to one of these events sometime just to meet some of you! To everyone who’s going – have a magical time! I can’t wait to live vicariously through y’all!

  • Ah, I was wondering how someone would be able to visit both Disney World and Disneyland in the same day but I guess that is possible.

    • Both Kingdom’s in one day is really pretty easy. I’ve done it a few times. You just hit the MK in the morning, grab a flight to John Wayne, and you’re in Disneyland in time for a great evening.

  • Yep. Michigan’s “spring” break is that week, and I already had a trip planned. Not sure how much time that day I’ll spend in MK, but probably do a monorail bar-hop loop followed by a late evening.

  • Finally – the Six Parks in One Day Touring Plan can be implemented!!

    • Before the announcement when D24 was still in the rumor stage, Team TouringPlans.com was thinking about how we could visit all domestic and international resorts on Feb 29 (and getting confused by the International Date Line). Fortunately (for our travel budget) and unfortunately (for our frequent flyer mileage), Paris, HK, and Tokyo aren’t participating. We haven’t ruled out a bi-coastal assault though.

  • I really want to be there. I know that it’s completely psycho to want to be there the full 24 hours, but I can’t help it! I wanna!
