Pepe by José Andrés Coming to Disney Springs

While we’re anxiously awaiting the debut of José Andrés’ upcoming table service restaurant, Jaleo, it was announced today that there’s going to be another option in Disney Springs for Guests who are looking for this celebrity chef’s cuisine. Pepe by José Andrés is going to be a quick service dining location that while inspired by the popular Washington DC food truck, will be a brick-and-mortar option on the West Side.

Pepe will feature an extensive menu of hot and cold Spanish-style sandwiches including bocatas and bikinis, all designed to showcase the best of Spain. Many of the signature sandwiches are made with pan de cristal, a delectable thin and crispy bread that is unique to Spain. Guests will also be able to savor a bowl of gazpacho soup or dig into a seasonal salad. Guests can linger a while over a glass of sangría and leave with a soft serve ice cream to go!

Menu items will include:

  • Pollo Frito, made with breaded chicken breast, alioli, bravas sauce, piparra peppers, gem lettuce, and sherry dressing
  • Serrano y Manchego, served on crispy Pan de Cristal with tomato fresco
  • Bocata de Vegetales, made with roasted peppers, onion, green asparagus, spinach, and manchego cheese on Pan de Cristal

No official opening date has been announced for either Jaleo or Pepe just yet, but stay tuned to the blog for more information about both of these new restaurants.
