Super Mario Galaxy Movie Experiences in Super Nintendo World

To celebrate the upcoming release of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Mario Day, Universal is offering limited-time snacks, merchandise, and meet and greets in Super Nintendo World on both coasts between March 10th and April 13, 2026!

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie introduces two new characters to the movie franchise – Lumas and Yoshis!

Lumas are cute little star creatures from the Mario Galaxy games and movies, and now you can purchase interactive ones at Super Nintendo retail locations. These shoulder pals interact with lights and sounds when they meet another Luma.

Yoshi is a franchise favorite, and during this special time, you can meet a Yoshi in Super Nintendo World! Meet and Greet the Yoshis is available during the operating day and Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and all day at Epic Universe.

And after exploring the galaxy, you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite, so grab the limited-time Rosolina Cupcake (“blue” velvet cupcake with blue cream cheese frosting, lemon butter cream, and a chocolate crown) and the Galaxy Popcorn (available after the movie comes out, berry popcorn with edible sprinkles).

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in Super Nintendo World promotion runs March 10 through April 13, 2026.
