The Best $76 You Can Spend at EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival in 2023
If you’re a regular reader you might be wondering about the budget increase here – we’ve been doing our “Best $50” for years but this is a little bigger budget. Good news! It’s not because we couldn’t stay under $50 – it’s because we took a poll and you all voted to increase the limit. We’ve put your money to good use and you’ll find a few more dishes below than we’ve had when there was only $50 to work with.
Appetizer / Vegetable Course
Chilled Potato and Leek Soup “Vichyssoise” with Bacon Lardons, Potato Croutons, Chive Oil and Crispy Leeks 🇬 from Farmer’s Feast, $5.00
Prepare thyself for joy! This chilled, gluten-friendly soup is salty & filling, perfect for the Florida weather!
Avocado Toast with Marinated Toy Box Tomatoes on Toasted Ciabatta 🌱 from BrunchCOT, $6.00
The beautiful plant-based dish is the visual & taste symbol for this gorgeous festival! It looks like spring in full bloom & tastes just as good. Creamy, tart, and bright!
Grilled Street Corn on the Cob from Florida Fresh, $5.75
– with Savory Garlic Spread and Spicy Corn Chips🌱
– with Savory Garlic Spread and Plant-Based Cotija Cheese🌱
No matter whether you pick the spicy or savory garlic flavor, this is fantastic. There’s no wrong choice here (and the rest of the booth is great too!)
Hummus Trio – Traditional Hummus, Red-Beet-and-Black-Garlic Hummus, and Avocado-Herb Hummus, served with Moroccan Bread and Crispy Papadam🌱 from Tangierine Café, $5.00
The crispy papadam & red beet & black garlic hummus are a magical pair in this plant-based appetizer! Please don’t skip this one!
Seafood Course
from Hanami, $9.00
Don’t be put off by the idea of creamy shrimp soup- this is stunning! The rich soup is perfect with the firm, fresh shrimp, lovely veg, & tons of noodles. We loved this.
Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp with Orange Chile Sauce from the Citrus Blossom, $7.00
Sweet, crunchy, & salty, all served inside The Odyssey bedecked with Orange Bird merch and decor. And of course, with A/C & nearby restrooms!
Meat Course
Taco Vampiro – Barbacoa Beef in a Corn Tortilla with Crispy Grilled Monterey Jack Cheese, Salsa Ranchera and Esquites 🇬 from Jardin de Fiestas, $8.00
A returning joy! The grilled Monterey Jack is scrumptious. Grab a margarita from La Cava del Tequila to go with, and you’ll be a happy duck!
Char-grilled Bison Ribeye with Creamy Leek Fondue, Red Wine Butter Sauce and Whipped Red Wine Goat Cheese from Farmers Feast, $8.25
This lovely piece of meat was a huge hit with our team & more than enough for 4! We loved this last year and we’re happy to see it back again.
Dessert Course
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon from Farmer’s Feast, $4.75
Grab this after devouring the Vichyssoise next door. Cream cheese frosting & candied bacon. Nom nom. Fabulous!
Bananas Foster Bread Pudding from Magnolia Terrace, $4.75
This new dish rocketed onto our must-try list. What it lacks in glamour, it makes up for in powerful taste. It’s candy in pudding form so prepare to swipe every drop of the excellent, sticky sauce off the bowl before you’re done!
Florida Strawberry Shortcake from Florida Fresh, $4.75
The most perfect dessert! Not too sweet, in-season berries, and the ideal whipped-cream vessel in sugar-festooned biscuit form. Outstanding!

It might be helpful to swap out the two menu items that are no longer available!
100% agree! We are here right now, and the only things I haven’t tried on your list are the shrimp tempura, the taco Vampiro and the bison ribeye.
The cinnamon bites are the best cinnamon thing I’ve ever had! My husband is a cinnamon roll aficionado, and he thought they were phenomenal
The avocado toast? *chefs kiss*
We’re food soulmates! So happy you had fun!
