It is almost impossible to talk about Disney Vacation Club without mentioning a few splash-tastic resort pools! Whether you’re new to DVC or an original Old Key West member, there is a good chance that you’ve already got a few favorite swimming holes in mind. Well, so do we! That’s right, we recently put our DVC knowledge to the test and ranked our Top 5 Favorite Pools of Disney Vacation Club!

  1. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (The Beach Pool)

The Beach Pool at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is without a doubt one of the most picturesque pools throughout all of Walt Disney World. Naturally, the free-flowing waterfall and breathtaking view of the Seven Seas Lagoon doesn’t hurt either! In addition, the nearby Alice in Wonderland splash zone adds a touch of frenzied themeing for kids and adults alike.

If The Beach Pool gets a bit to hectic, try heading over to the Courtyard Pool for a more peaceful and lowkey experience.

  1. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (The Uzima Springs Pool and Samawati Springs Pool)

The Uzima Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is certainly one of a kind. Offering 11,000 square feet of soak and wet fun in the sun, this pool gets a reputation for being both FUN and FURrocious, mostly in part due to its remarkable view of the Uzima Savanna! Can you imagine taking a midday dip with giraffes roaming nearby?!? I mean, come on! That is pure Disney magic, right?

If you do venture down to the Uzima Springs Pool just be careful. After all, it’s a jungle out there!

If you’re staying over at the other part of the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort, Kidani Village, there’s the beautiful Samawati Springs Pool. In addition to the beautiful pool with its waterslide, there’s an entire kid play area that is sure to please.

  1. Disney’s Old Key West Resort (Sandcastle Pool)

Disney’s Old Key West Resort playfully blends the warm and inviting tone of the Florida Keys with a touch of Mouseketeer charm. So, it is any wonder why their Sandcastle Pool would fit right into the Jimmy Buffett-esque motif – giant side and all. In addition, you’ll find ornamental dolphins and a stately lighthouse, both of which help emphasize the chill beachside vibes. Due to the sheer size the resort, the pools never seem to get overcrowded, even through peak season – making it a wonderful alternative when other resorts are at max capacity.

  1. Disney’s Polynesian Village & Bungalows (Lava Pool & Oasis Pool)

Aloha! Grab your favorite Hawaiian shirt and put a flower in your hair, because this fan-favorite resort is sure to put you in an island state of mind. Now, this tiki-clad hotel has two pools worth mentioning, both of which represent two very opposite ends of the spectrum.

Lava Pool – This fun-filled pool provides a charming Tiki Splash Play Area, walking bridge, waterfalls, poolside bar, hot tub, a 142-foot water slide, and stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Oasis Pool – This zero-entry pool showcases a tranquil alternative, giving guests a more traditional “romantic Hawaiian getaway” feel.

  1. Disney’s Beach Club Villas (Stormalong Bay)

Stormalong Bay at Yacht and Beach Club

What has a sand-bottomed pool, lazy river, three whirlpool spas, and a 230-foot-tall waterslide? If you guessed Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Villas… you’re right!!! This 3-acre water wonderland is hands down the most eventful resort pool at Walt Disney World. In fact, it is so action packed, you may just have a good mind to skip the parks! Yup… it’s that good. But don’t take our word for it… jump right in!

And there you have it, our Top 5 Favorite Pools of Disney Vacation Club! Do you agree with our list? What would you add? Let us know in the comments below!

  • I’m assuming this is Vacation Club pools within Walt Disney World.
Because none of them, including Stormalong Bay, can hold a candle to the pool complex at Aulani.

  • I’m not sure the waterslide in stormalong bay is 230ft tall. This would make it the tallest attraction in all of WDW? ToT is only 199ft tall.

    • It’s 230ft long
