TP Teaches: WDW Touring Episode 201
In case you haven’t been following along every Friday on YouTube, I’ve got a new video series that helps people plan out Disney trips. Each topic starts with the basics, and then has more “expert-level” content too. That way anyone can join in and learn something no matter their level of expertise! So far I’ve covered Genie+ and WDW resorts pretty thoroughly.
This week’s episode (watch it HERE) builds upon a few introduction videos that discuss touring strategies. Here’s what you can expect:
- Early Entry strategy for Animal Kingdom
- Early Entry strategy for EPCOT (from International Gateway)
- Early Entry strategy for EPCOT (from Main Entrance)
I go over some fun map stuff and tips about various walkways, as well as expected wait times. Of course, no “strategy” is perfect, so keeping up-to-date with your Lines app while you’re in the park will still be important.
Have you been watching TouringPlans Teaches? Do you have a favorite episode … or t-shirt? What about predictions for early entry strategies for Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom? Drop them in the comments below!
This is coming at just the right time! We arrive on 8/2 and will be in the parks for 9 days. Hubs’ first time at WDW. The last time my sister and I visited in 2013, we used the clipped touring plans from the Unofficial Guide and rope dropped because we stayed offsite. Now 9 years later, we’re onsite with 6 adults (my parents, sister/her partner, my husband and me plus our 14 month-old). Genie+, the Lines app, ILL, early entry all make this so interesting and a smidge stressful for my Type A-ness. I just want everyone to have a good time. Will watch and take fervent notes. Excited for next week’s episode too. I love your Behind the #s write-ups!
Excited for your trip! Sounds like you’re well-prepared 🙂
