Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Roars to Life on November 7, 2025 – Updated!

It’s no secret that a brand new show is coming to the Tree of Life Theater in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney previously announced that Zootopia: Better Zoogether! would open on November 7, 2025. It’s a timely debut, just a few weeks before the in-theaters release of Zootopia 2, and you’ll also be able to meet Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps near the Tree of Life. Now that we’re just a few short weeks away, Disney has released some additional news, and we’ve added it in to our original announcement below. Read on for details!

What’s Better Zoogether About?

Along with the opening date, Disney released a quick plot summary. Guests heading into the Tree of Life Theater will find themselves heading to the main stage for the “Zoogether Day festivities”, a celebration of unity between the biomes.

Heidi Howler will be your host for the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast. From the livestream watch party, you’ll see ice-skating from Tundratown, a synchronized swimming showcase from Marsh Market, tiny mouse drone shows, and more. Plus, superstar Gazelle headlines the musical finale!

Newly announced in October – is it your secret dream to see Officer Clawhauser wearing glow necklaces and bracelets along with a glittery Gazelle T-shirt? Well, your wish is about to come true. While most of the Zootopia inhabitants will jump off the screen thanks to “Carrot Vision” glasses, Clawhauser will be there as an all-new Audio-Animatronics figure. He’s on a quest to be picked as the Very Important Zootopian (V.I.Z.) who will get special access to the Zoogether Day performers. And Disney tells us that “when that doesn’t work out, he has to take matters into his own paws”.

When Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens, Disney has confirmed that it will be added to the Lightning Lane lineup as a Multi Pass selection.

Pre-opening Previews

Zootopia: Better Zoogether! officially opens on November 7, and Disney has now announced Annual Passholder & Disney Vacation Club member previews.

Disney Vacation Club Member previews are scheduled for November 1, 2, & 3, 2025. Registration begins October 23, 2025, and is limited to Members with a qualifying Walt Disney World hotel reservation booked prior to October 19, 2025. If you are a DVC member with a qualifying resort registration, keep an eye on your email for details and a link to register.

Annual Passholder previews are scheduled for November 5 & 6, 2025. A Virtual Queue will be in use for these previews, with drops at 7 am and 1 pm.

Nicky & Judy Meet & Greet

Of course everyone will see Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, but you’ll also have the opportunity to shake paw at a Meet & Greet. Judy and Nick will be meeting at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot on Discovery Island, near the Tree of Life. The pair will be costumed based on Zootopia 2, and it’s not clear whether the Meet & Greet will open at the same time as Zootopia: Better Zoogether! or a few weeks later, after the release of Zootopia 2.
