Upcoming Space Restaurant Opening at Epcot This Year

If you’ve ridden Test Track recently, you may have noticed the giant building that’s currently under construction next to Mission: SPACE when making the loop outside. (It’s extremely hard to miss!) This construction is for the upcoming space-themed restaurant that had been announced back at the D23 Expo. Construction looks to be moving swiftly, as this new table service restaurant is slated to open before the end of this year!

As you can see from the concept art, Guests will truly feel as though they are on some sort of space station, floating out in the middle of outer space. (Who else gets an Orville vibe?) The “views” that you will see, I expect, will be phenomenal.

The as-of-right-now unnamed space-themed restaurant will allow for Guests to experience a truly out of this world meal. The dining establishment will be operated by the Patina Group, (who currently operates Maria & Enzos, Morimoto Asia, The Edison, and Via Napoli at Walt Disney World, to name a few). The menu will include internationally-inspired cuisine and more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines, plus a wide selection of craft beer.

Stay tuned to the blog for more details, such as the name, menu offerings, and an official opening date.
