The Everest Ornament is a Touch of Reality at Expedition Everest

The shop at the exit of the Expedition Everest attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom sells some actual items that have been to Mt. Everest. One such item is the Everest Ornament, priced at 16.95 each. The ornament looks like a standard glass ball filled with tinsel, but the packaging indicates that the tinsel is actually metal refuse reclaimed from oxygen tanks abandoned by climbers. It’s beautiful and environmentally friendly!
