Free Dining Returns!

Love it or hate it, you can’t deny the popularity of Disney’s Free Dining promotion. If you’re looking for free dining for this summer, the time to act is now.

This free dining offer covers arrivals on only a handful of dates:

• June 27 or 28, 2020
• July 5, 6, or 7, 2020
• August 29 through September 8, 2020

The offer requires a minimum 5-night stay and a park hopper ticket purchase is required to get the free dining package. Like most of Disney’s free dining promotions, not all rooms and room types will apply, the type of free dining package you receive will depend on where you stay, and this offer can sell out at any time. This deal cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. Offer must be booked by January 16, 2020.

Before you decide on free dining, make sure to run the numbers and see if it will actually save you money. Many people are better off with other discounted packages (especially if you don’t need the park tickets or aren’t able to maximize every single dining credit). It’s worth noting that Disney released a Free Dining offer on January 2, 2019 as well.  That offer covered travel dates from July 5, 2019 through September 30, 2019 (not coincidentally, the summer dates during which Galaxy’s Edge was not supposed to be open.)  It’s possible that this is the only summer Free Dining offer Disney’s going to have this year, but we think there’ll be others.
