EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon to Include Daytime Fountains

As had been announced previously, EPCOT will be getting a new nighttime show called Harmonious, which is currently being worked on and it is slated to be the largest nighttime show that Disney has ever created for a Disney theme park.

Harmonious will be a grand and original spectacular that will share a message of global connection by celebrating Disney music and stories that are inspired and influenced by people and cultures from around the world. The show will feature five enormous floating platforms which will house the primary show equipment for the spectacular. There will also be a six story tall central ring structure and water curtain.

But, since the show elements will be stationary in World Showcase Lagoon, they will actually be used to provide an ambient daytime look, courtesy of fountain in the lagoon, as you can see in the concept art above.

While it won’t be a replacement to the recently lost Fountain of Nations, it will be nice to see some sort of water feature in EPCOT again!

There is currently no word on when Harmonious will officially debut.
