2025 Food & Wine Festival: Best Disney Dining Plan Snacks
EPCOT’s 2025 Food and Wine Festival runs through November 22, so if you’re planning a visit during your vacation and you’re using the Disney Dining Plan (DDP), we’ve got some tips for you. Each of the current Dining Plan options include 1 snack credit per person per night of stay. A snack credit may be used on things like a Mickey Ice Cream Bar, a bottle of soda, or a piece of whole fruit. EPCOT Festivals open dozens of new snack credit options – some of them more worthy than others. Let’s review a few!
Nearly every single dish at Food and Wine qualifies as a single snack credit on the DDP. The few notable exceptions are the Huckleberry Funnel Cake, $12.00, at the stand near The American Adventure, and the Braised Beef Poutine, $10.00, at Refreshment Port near the Canada Pavilion. You can check the menu boards outside of each kitchen for the purple DDP symbol in the picture above. If you see the symbol near an item, you can redeem 1 snack credit when you place your order.
A Vigorous Yes
Pickle Milk Shake | The Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey – $6.00
Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea | $5.00
The Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey is our first stop. If you’re in the mood for a cool drink and a few minutes to rest in an actual chair in some decent air conditioning, grab either the Pickle Shake or the Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea for 1 snack credit each. These two drinks are fun, and we happen to enjoy them both. Even if you don’t love the pickle shake, it’s a whole hoot to try and talk about with your group. Plus, you get to keep the plastic souvenir cup.
Schiacciata Sandwich | Forest & Field – $6.25
A big ole’ honking sandwich for 1 snack credit! A few slices of your plastic knife and you have a hearty and tasty snack for three people. Mortadella, Prosciutto Ham, Sun-dried Peppers, Arugula, Stracciatella Cheese, Fall Squash Mostarda, and Pistachio Pesto on Warm Focaccia.
Bratwurst | Germany – $6.25
Maybe it was the Schöfferhofer Berry-Lime Hefeweizen we’d just had, but the Bratwurst was extra tasty this year on opening day. Our serving was more than enough for two folks to share on just 1 snack credit.
Fry Flight | The Fry Basket – $8.00
Sea Salt-Vinegar Fries, Truffle-Parmesan Fries, and Sweet Potato Casserole Fries for just 1 DDP snack credit! That’s Marshmallow Cream on top of the Sweet Potato Casserole Fries on the right. The cream was over-the-top and perfect with the salty, sweet fries. This snack credit will get you an easy to share snack that should make everyone happy.
No, no, maybe.
You definitely shouldn’t use 1 DDP snack credit for a side of cheese sauce at Pecos Bill, and you shouldn’t use one for these items either. Even though they are a good “value” for the credit, we think they’re not good food.
Bacetti ‘Kisses’ di Pizza, Traditional Napoli Street Food | Italy – $8.75
It feels like bait at this point, and here we go falling for it again. Italy is the boyfriend who does just enough to get you to break up with him a few times, and you keep going back, but he doesn’t change or even apologize. If you don’t relate, then congratulations on winning at therapy. Anyway, don’t eat this. The dough was massively underproofed, undercooked, plastic-y outside, and nearly raw inside. You shouldn’t spend $8.75 on this, and you certainly shouldn’t use one of your snack credits for it, either.
Trio d’Escargots | France- $8.95
Yep, that Garlic-Parsley Dip is “full” and this picture was taken before we took a bite. We even went back up to the kitchen to make sure that it was supposed to be such a shallow tin of dip. It was. The croissant dough was flaky, and the wee bit of filling was salty and so nice, but there was so little dip, and each pastry was so small that this is more fussy than fun. Save your snack credit.
Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin | Bramblewood Bites – $7.00
This pork tenderloin had so much potential, but was just incredibly dry. Hopefully this was just an opening day issue because the flavor was wonderful! If you pass this kitchen and see the pork under the warming lights, it may be best to save your snack credit.
