2319 Cone is Boo-tiful

If you’re a Monster’s Inc fan (and if you’re not, you should be), head on over to Auntie Gravity’s in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland for the 2319 ice cream cone. It’s priced at $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit.

The ice cream is a swirl of mango and vanilla soft serve, topped with sprinkles and a sock-shaped cookie, served in an orange cone. You can ask for just mango or just vanilla if that’s what you’re in the mood for.

For those not up on their Monster’s Inc. trivia, “2319” is the emergency code for “white sock.” In the film, the Child Detection Agency (CDA) is alerted when I monster is “contaminated” by a child or child’s foreign item, like a sock. The CDA removes the foreign object and then shaves and cleans the monster. In the film, George Sanderson is an orange-colored monster who becomes contaminated by a white sock.

The significance of the number 2319 is hotly debated, but many think that it stands for “W S” or white sock, because W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet and S is the 19th letter of the alphabet.

We’re not sure about any of that, but we are sure that you should eat this one fast because in the summer sun it begins to melt almost immediately.
