Looking to take in the upcoming Symphony in the Stars fireworks extravaganza set to take place beginning January 5? Consider booking the Symphony in the Stars: Galactic Dessert Party. Guests will be able to watch the fireworks from a reserved viewing area while enjoying Star Wars-themed desserts and beverages. Guests will also receive a souvenir beverage stein of Chewbacca to commemorate the event.

This dessert party is available from January 5 through March 19. The cost is $69.00 per adult (age 10 and over) and $39.00 for children (ages 3 to 9); tax and gratuity are included. Keep in mind that admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required, but not included in your ticket purchase.

Guests will be able to check in for this event at Center Stage located next to Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner.  The party location is outdoors and uncovered, however, in the event of inclement weather, the dessert party may be moved to an alternate indoor location.

  • Got the wife to call Disney as this is something we may want to do. Apparently, it runs from 7:00 to 8:15, but actual times may vary depending on the day. Chewie mug aside, it seems like a pretty steep charge for an hour and a quarter. Hope they extend it bit more as I find the lack of time disturbing. Sure more details will reveal themselves.

    • It didn’t even occur to me that you would need to buy into the dessert party to see the fireworks. I guess in my head it was like the other parties where you get premium seating and snacks for the money but you can till see the show for free.

      • You do not need to buy the dessert party to see the fireworks. The show will take place during normal park hours and is included in your park’s admission. The dessert party is an extra add on for those who would like to participate and will be similar to other dessert party options presented in the past in the park.

  • Do you know what time the fireworks start?

  • Any good theories on why the Symphony in the stars is only expected to run through March 19? It seems odd that they are hyping up the Star Wars in the park but only for such a limited time (not even until May the Fourth) when they should want to keep people hyped all the way through the new version of the park’s arrival. I’ve got a early May trip planned and am hoping that like the first installment of the Frozen fireworks in 2014 they extend the Star Wars fireworks. I’m sure it will be awesome, there aren’t many better themes for a firework show and possibly no better company at creating themed firework shows.

  • Wish they’d extend this right thru to the StarWars Marathon weekend April 15, 2016! T.T
