Symphony in the Stars Fireworks Will Begin December 18
Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular will begin showing nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 18. The fireworks show will feature dazzling Star Wars-themed fireworks show set to the mesmerizing and infamous John Williams soundtrack, along with brand new music. The show will even feature details from The Force Awakens.
Guests who want to take things up a notch may participate in the Galactic Dessert Party, which is now currently on sale for Guests to book.
The Symphony in the Stars fireworks are beginning earlier than previous expected. The original start date was supposed to be January 5. Keep in mind that on December 31, a New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular will be performed instead. Also, never fear, Fantasmic! will still be presented nightly.

How does this impact timing with Fantasmic on early close nights, like in January. I’ll be in HS in the end of January when the park closes at 7:00 and there’s Fantasmic scheduled at 7:00. So do they do these fireworks earlier or keep the park open later?
That is my question, too! I currently have dinner + VIP package booked for Fantasmic, but, as a massive Star Wars fan, I would choose the fireworks + dessert party over Fantasmic. However, ideally I’d like to do both!
Anyone know if/how the fireworks will effect the Osborne Dancing Lights?

The dessert party is currently NOT available until January 5.
The Disney site seemed to indicate that the FWs were only on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays. Is that still the case, or will it be nightly? Thanks!

Do we know how long these fireworks will go? I hope they’ll be on when I’m there in May, since there will be no Star Wars weekends!
Currently there is no timeline on when the fireworks will end. Will make sure to keep everyone posted if dates are announced.
I did read March 19th being the end of the SW Fireworks & Galactic Dessert Party, and WDW only has Jan 5th thru March 19 avail for ressies.
Disappopinted to miss this for our April trip. DisneyRun’s SW 1/2 marathon is April 15th, would make sense to have it around that week, too.
