Say Aloha to the Te Fiti Cone at Pineapple Lanai

Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is a bit of tropical paradise. Unlike Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, which always seems busy and offers little in the way of seating, Pineapple Lanai never feels quite as crowded and has some seating available–in the shade no less! Of course another benefit of Pineapple Lanai is that you can get Dole Whip with coconut rum.

But a new item on the list was very intriguing — the Ti Fiti Cone: lime soft serve garnished with an orchid. Disney has done some wonderful things with soft serve as of late, and this option is no exception.

The flavor of this is was simply delicious — think of it like Sprite, but cold and tart. The orchid, while beautiful, isn’t something you’d probably eat with the soft serve (even though it is edible). And yes, you can get the lime soft serve by itself or swirled with lemon — which is not noted on the menu.

So even if you aren’t a fan of lime, what about lemon soft serve? I think Disney may have a secret summertime hit with that one!
