Three Reasons to Visit Amorette’s Patisserie During the Holidays
The holidays are full of sweets and baked goods, so a visit Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs is probably already on your radar. But in case it’s not, there are three good reasons to stop inside this art-inspired French bakery during the holidays.
First, there’s the adorable and oh-so-delicious Holiday Petit Cake. This beautiful little cake is made of Chocolate Chiffon Cake, Chocolate Biscuit, Cherry Jam, Cherry Chantilly, Dark Chocolate Mouse, and Chocolate Shavings. It is almost too precious to eat with its “Season’s Greetings” tag, holly, and Mickey Mouse-shaped gingerbread man. At $18 it is a small indulgence for a tasty work of art.
If you, or any Star Wars fan in your life, are celebrating anything soon, like a birthday or anniversary, the R2-D2 Cake is the droid you’re looking for. This droid dome cake is made of Chocolate Chiffon Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream Mousse, Chantilly Cream, Milk Chocolate Ganache, and White and Dark Chocolate Crisp Pearls. The price of $59 seems a little high, but the quality of the cake comes through and it serves 6-8 people. R2-D2 won’t be around for long, so capture him in your tractor beam soon.
Lastly, if neither of these items appeal to you, it is still worth visiting Amorette’s at least to view their holiday chocolate display. This precious recreation of Amorette’s showcases the charming front facade and a look inside the kitchen, albeit more of an imagined kitchen rather than reality. There’s some fun details and it features real lights.
Will you be visiting Amorette’s Patisserie before the holidays are through?
