Orlando International Airport Reopens

Orlando International Airport (MCO) resumes flight operations at 12 p.m. Friday, September 30. They recommend you contact your airline for flight updates.

Disney World Reopens September 30

Theme parks will reopen Friday, September 30 with the following hours:

• Magic Kingdom
  • 8 a.m. Early Theme Park Entry
  • 10 a.m. all Guest entry
  • 6 p.m. close
  • 7 p.m.-12 a.m. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
• EPCOT
  • 9 a.m. Early Theme Park Entry
  • 11 a.m. all Guest entry
  • 9 p.m. close
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios 
  • 10 a.m. Early Theme Park Entry
  • 12 p.m. all Guest entry
  • 9 p.m. close
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom 
  • 11 a.m. Early Theme Park Entry
  • 1 p.m. all Guest entry
  • 7 p.m. close

Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to reopen Sunday, October 2. Blizzard Beach remains closed as previously scheduled.

Fantasia Gardens mini golf will open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Winter-Summerland remains closes

Disney World transportation will return to operation.

Disney World has announced the following closures as it prepares for potential storms and damage from Hurricane Ian:

Disney World Hurricane Ian Hotel Closures

The following remain closed :

• Fort Wilderness cabins and campsites
• Treehouse Villas (closed until Monday, October 3)

Disney World Hotel Check-in

Guests checking in September 30 are asked not to arrive before 3 p.m. Check-in will not be available until after 3 p.m.

Fort Wilderness and Hoop-Dee-Doo

Fort Wilderness is not able to honor upcoming cabin and campsite reservations. Disney is contacting affected guests to let them know their reservations are canceled. Because of the Fort Wilderness closure, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue performances are canceled.

Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser resumes operations with Saturday, October 1, voyages.

Disney Springs Reopens

Disney Springs will be open 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The Drawn to Life show that was scheduled for 5:30 will go on at 8 p.m.

Disney Cruise Line

The Friday September 30 Disney Wish sailing is canceled. The Monday October 3 sailing is expected to sail as scheduled.

The Saturday October 1 Disney Fantasy sailing may have a later embarkation due to its delayed return to Port Canaveral.

The Disney Dream has had no changes to its sailings from Miami.

Universal Orlando Phased Reopen

New! Universal Orlando Resort announced it will reopen to all guests at 5 p.m. on Friday to all guests with existing tickets (so, no new ticket sales today).

New! Friday’s Halloween Horror Nights event will happen as scheduled.

Universal Orlando will open to all guests on Saturday, October 1. The HHN event scheduled for Saturday, October 1 will happen as well.

SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica, Discovery Cove

Seaworld Entertainment has announced closures for a number of its parks.

• Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: Closed Tuesday, September 27 – Friday, September 30
• SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando and Discovery Cove: Closed Wednesday, September 28 – Friday, September 30.

All parks are expected to reopen on Saturday, October 1.

Legoland Florida

Legoland Florida remains closed Friday, September 30. This closure includes Legoland, the water park, and the Peppa Pig Theme Park.
