Announcing the TouringPlans Flickr Site!
Lately your TouringPlans.com crew has spent some time thinking of new and fun ways to interact with all of you Disney lovers out there. We are active in Twitter, Facebook, blogging and recently launched Lines chat, which has become a huge success. All of these outlets serve a purpose: we Disney fans need each other. Other people who “get it”. And I know all of you reading know exactly what we mean. So we wanted to introduce to you our new idea the TouringPlans.com group Flickr pool. Many sites and events do something similar to share the magic and relive memories. We want to do the same.
The photo pool is public group site meant for fun photos of TouringPlans fans using Lines and the Unofficial Guide in the Disney Parks. But is also a perfect outlet for you to share some of your favorite Disney photos with other fans who will appreciate the art. Get an awesome shot of the monorail as it zoomed past Spaceship Earth? Submit it to the TouringPlans Flickr pool! There is also a great discussion forum for you to post topics about Disney photography in the Parks! Share the best photo spots or ask others how to get the best Wishes fireworks shot!
How to submit photos:
If you are a member on Flickr, simply join our group and you can upload your favorite photo sets right away! If you aren’t a member, we highly recommend it! Flickr is a great photo sharing tool!
In the parks and want to upload a picture from your smartphone on the spot? Email: half59off@photos.flickr.com and your photo will be submitted to the TouringPlans pool. Easy as that!
There are also apps for Flickr for many smartphone platforms, including the iPhone!
Those that contribute to the pool will also be eligible for prize giveways and perhaps we’ll run some favorite photo contents! We’re really excited about this new site and we hope you’ll take part.

Very cool! I just added a dozen favorites from our last two trips (both in ’09). They’re very photogenic, those parks.
