One other point, how often do adults get to dress up for Halloween, other than a party at home or going to some event at a bar or the like? Her’s a simple fun party adults can enjoy without drunks at every elbow.
This is even a question? Of COURSE you dress up! Even something simple works just fine!
Wife and I did a Wesley and Buttercup last year. Simple pirate outfit for me and a nice red flowing comfortable dress for her. Easy, simple and comfortable is key! You still want to be able to ride rides, and walk around. 😉
Did a Sith Lord few years back on a May the 4th weekend and had too hot of a robes for walking around HS. But dressing up when you can is part of the fun at WDW!
I voted yes but honestly I’m actually voting in the “do you dress up for Mickey’s * Halloween Party?” poll. I’ve just been to a “Mickey’s Halloween Party” in Disneyland but I’ve never been to a “…Not So Scary…” party in WDW.
It is hot and humid, but a costume can be comfortable and cute. Agree it is about accessorizing. A cute hat or set of ears can make it happen.
If it is hot and humid…I’d prefer to be comfortable over in costume. So shorts and a cooling t-shirt are my costume!
The best costumes are often the easiest. I love grabbing a headband (maleficent) or accessories and pick out clothes from my own closet to make a full costume. You’d be surprised how much black pants and a black shirt can be a lot of different Disney villains.
