Planning your first Disney Cruise can be as overwhelming as exciting. Tammy has 10 top do’s and don’ts you’ll want to know to get sailing in the right direction!
There’s a new sail away party coming for guests on the Disney Wonder! Starting with the February 3 sailing, guests are being encouraged to dress up and “Disney Bound” as a favorite character, and join the party as they wave farewell to responsibility for a few days. Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave deck party is also expected to make its way to the Disney Magic later this month.
Here’s this week’s special offers. Most every week of the year, Disney Cruise Line releases special offers for Florida Residents and U.S. Military Personnel. There are also frequently IGT/OGT/VGT rates available for all guests to book. These offers are extremely limited in availability, and all come with certain restrictions, but the prices are amazing! You can book these online, on the phone, or with your travel agent. These are the current offers available this week:

For future reference, films debut on Disney Cruise Line the same day of their initial release in the United States. Films do vary by ship. Show times are available in your Personal Navigator or the official Disney Cruise Line app.
Captain’s Log: Important Tips and Information
Exciting news – both the Marvel Day at Sea and Star Wars Day at Sea sailings will continue in 2020! Dates have now been made official for both special itineraries.
Marvel Day at Sea will be on 5-night sailings on the Disney Magic out of Miami. There will be Bahamian sailings on January 9 and 27, February 10 and 24, and on March 9. You can also get in on the superhero action on Western Caribbean sailings on January 18, and February 1, 15, and 29. The Bahamian sailings will visit Key West, Nassau, and Castaway Cay, while the Western Caribbean will visit either Cozumel or Grand Cayman (depending on date of departure) and Castaway Cay.
Star Wars day at Sea will continue to take place on 7-night Caribbean sailings on the Disney Fantasy out of Port Canaveral. Eastern sailings will depart on January 11 and 25, and February 8 and 22. Western Caribbean sailings will be on January 4 and 18, and February 1, 15, and 29.
Both of these special itineraries include a full day at sea dedicated to the theme. There are deck parties, themed menus, shows, character meet and greets, and of course exclusive merchandise opportunities.
