Disney in a Minute: What is Club Level?
Club Level – also known as Concierge – refers to a category of Disney resort hotel rooms that come with extra perks. There are Concierge rooms at non-Disney hotels, too, but you may find the experience at Disney a bit different. Let’s look at what you can expect from Club Level at Disney World or Disneyland.
At Disney World, all Deluxe Resorts offer Club Level. Only one resort not in the Deluxe tier has a Club Level: the Chronos Club at Coronado Springs. At Disneyland, all three official Disney Resorts have a Club Level.

The three big perks of Club Level at a Disney resort are:
- Access to the Concierge Lounge
- Upgraded Amenities
- Planning Services
Guests staying in Club Level rooms get access to a private lounge. Lounges are furnished with tables and chairs for dining, and comfortable seating. Often, there’s a great view. (Note: Club Level Access vs. Club Level in the room description. Both mean that you have access to the Club Lounge, “Club Level Access” means your room is on a different floor.)
The lounge is a nice space to relax outside your room, but complimentary lounge refreshments are a big draw. The lineup includes breakfast, afternoon snacks, and light bites, desserts, and wine in the evening. Soft drinks and beverages are available all day.

The menus, which vary daily, tend to be high-quality items reflecting the resort. And they often feature signature items from the resort’s restaurant kitchens. For instance, guests at Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kilimanjaro Club may be treated to Sanaa’s butter chicken.
Every lounge is a bit different, and some have unique features. We’ve stayed Club Level at the Polynesian, and the lounge faces the Magic Kingdom. You can watch the fireworks in comfort, with snacks, while the soundtrack is piped in. Other lounges have multi-level spaces or views of the lobby from the hotel’s top floor.

Disney Club Level rooms often come with upgraded amenities. It’s not a huge difference, but there are some extra touches. Depending on the resort, room size and layout may not be different from standard rooms. But you could find upgraded toiletries, robes, and turndown service. We’ve been surprised to return after a long day to see carefully folded towel creatures on our beds!

Another benefit of staying Club Level is the concierge service. Guests have access to a team of Cast Members who can assist with planning and reservations. Disney’s version isn’t as spiffy as the concierge service elsewhere. The concierge team can help plan, and they’re a great source of information. But sadly, they can’t get you into a fully-booked restaurant at the last minute; you’ll still need to plan ahead. In fact, they can’t book anything that you aren’t able to book yourself, if you know how.
Club Level rooms do cost more than standard rooms at the same resort, sometimes significantly more. Whether it’s worth the increased expense is a matter of personal choice.
