The lazy days of summer are just ahead and Disney World is offering you a chance to visit on the cheap (well, OK, cheap-er) with three special Magic Ticket offers. There’s are offers for Florida Residents (including one just released on August 1) and for the general public – they’re slightly different so read on for details.

4-Park Magic Ticket for the General Public

Beginning May 23, 2023, guests can purchase the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket for $99 per day plus tax ($396 total plus tax). This ticket allows you to visit each of the parks one time, for a total of 4 admissions on 4 separate days (so no park-hopping by using 4 admissions in 3 days). Best of all, there are no park reservations required when you use this ticket.

  • Valid from June 1 to September 29, 2023—subject to blockout dates from July 1 to July 4, and September 1 to September 4, 2023.
  • Ticket expires within 7 days of first use or on September 29, 2023, whichever occurs first.
  • Purchase any time through September 22, 2023

There are also very attractive room discounts available for summer stays: Summer 2023 Room Discounts Available at Disney World. If you’d like to find out whether these ticket and room discounts can bring a summer Disney World visit into your budget, feel free to reach out to the agents at TouringPlans Travel for a no-obligation free quote.

Not sure if one day at each park will work for you? You Have Four Days at Disney World. Should You Go to All Four Theme Parks?.

How good is this deal?

Our best price comparison is to a 4-day regular admission ticket, although that ticket isn’t restricted to visiting each park exactly once. Still, the average price for a 4-day ticket in 2023 is over $500, so this is a savings of more than 20%. You can take that and put it in your pocket, or try to finagle some more bang for your buck by applying it to an After Hours or Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket.

Florida Resident Summer Magic Ticket

Beginning May 16, 2023, Florida Residents can purchase a 3- or 4-Day Disney Summer Magic Ticket at a savings off the regular Florida Resident theme park ticket price. These tickets do require park reservations but can be used on consecutive or non-consecutive days.

  • 4-Day Ticket $229 plus tax ($58 per day, plus tax)
  • 3-Day Ticket $209 plus tax ($70 per day, plus tax)

Upgrade your Summer Magic ticket by adding on Park Hopper for $40, Water Parks & Sports for $35, or both for $55, not including tax.

Tickets are valid May 16 through September 29, 2023, subject to these blockout dates: May 26 to May 29, 2023, July 1 to July 4, 2023, & September 1 to September 4, 2023

Florida Resident Disney 2-Park Explorer Ticket

Beginning August 1, 2023, Florida Residents can purchase a special 2-day ticket to visit EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park for only $159. These tickets do require park reservations but can be used on consecutive or non-consecutive days.

  • 2-Day Ticket $159 plus tax ($79.50 per day, plus tax)

Upgrade this ticket by adding Water Parks & Sports for only $35 plus tax.

This ticket is valid for admission to EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park only from August 1 to September 29, 2023, with no blockout dates.

  • Can I buy the 4 Magic 4 Day and later include more days?

    • Disney usually allows ticket “bridging” – to upgrade your ticket, they’ll charge you only the difference in price. With a promotional ticket like this, that will almost never be in your favor. Say you want to add one additional day; you’ll have to pay the difference between this ticket and a regular 5-day ticket. You’ll get the extra day, but you’ll lose all the savings from the special ticket. You’re better off just buying a regular ticket for the extra day instead of trying to upgrade this one.

  • Curious, can you make park reservations with this ticket even if it is not required? My husband and I are AP so we need reservations. Also… if you add the hopper and water parks. Can you visit a water park on a black out day or is that considered a “park”?

    • Hi Morgan, according to our testing, you can’t use the 4-Park Magic Ticket to make park reservations. But note that only the Florida Resident Summer Magic Ticket can be upgraded to add the hopper and water parks, and that ticket does require you to make reservations. As for your question about the blackout dates, the answer I was given by Disney Guest Services is that you may visit the water parks on the days when the theme parks are blacked out. However, we have not actually tested this.

  • How will virtual lanes work with this no reservation ticket?

    • Hi Andrea, I reached out to one of our TAs, and they said they were told that as long as you have valid park admission for the date, you will be able to purchase Genie+ and book Lightning Lanes and Virtual Queues even without a reservation.
