Disney World Construction Update – Late July 2019

Visits to Walt Disney World these days are almost as much about seeing construction zones as they are about seeing characters. We’re VERY excited to see work started on a footbridge from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian, but some of the other construction mess is starting to make us weary.

Here’s some of what’s happing with Disney World construction recently.

Magic Kingdom

Walkway expansion at the side of the Castle
A bit closer
Walkway near Liberty Square
Tron coaster
Construction walls 1
Construction walls 2
Construction walls 3
Tomorrowland archway sign has been removed

Epcot

What are your thoughts on all the construction? Geeky anticipation? Total eyesore? Fine, but why during my vacation? Let us know in the comments.
