First Look at Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular
We are one week out from the very first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and today, Disney gave us a preview of the new Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, the new fireworks show for the evening.
During the show, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas serves as host and has come to tell a “not-so-scary” story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. His ghost dog, Zero, flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends – Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy – find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. During their journey, they’ll move from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of Disney villains. The show will also include state-of-the-art projections and lasers, plus lighting and dazzling fireworks.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is unique as it’s sort of like an episode of a Mickey Mouse short, but it’s done on the castle. The team behind the show says that the goal is to pull you in and make you feel like you are going on the journey with Mickey and the gang. (PS: did you see that Jack Skellington at the end! Wow!) Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular looks incredible and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to catch it this year!
For those who want to make sure you see the new show, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are on sale now.
