Fourth of July Celebrations at the Disneyland Resort

The Fourth of July holiday is this week and Disneyland is ready to celebrate.

To kick off the day, Guests will be able to meet Mickey in his patriotic attire. He’ll be located in Town Square from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on July 4.

Guests will also want to make sure they catch some of the patriotic shows and experiences that can be done throughout Disneyland, like the Disneyland Railroad, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Frontierland and the Mark Twain Riverboat, and the flag retreat ceremony.

In the evening, on July 4th, catch “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” which will feature star-spangled spirit to the sounds of patriotic songs. The fireworks spectacular will take place at 9:30 p.m.

Guests looking to wear their red, white, and blue will be able to purchase Americana merchandise like Spirit Jerseys, t-shirts, dresses, Minnie Ears, light-up necklaces, place settings and more. These will only be available for a limited time at the Emporium and at Pioneer Mercantile in Disneyland, at Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure, and at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.

Moving over to the resorts, at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, on July 4 only, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Guests will be able to take part in a Fourth of July family BBQ at the rooftop The Sand Bar. Live music will start at 6:00 p.m. A special a la carte menu will include short rib brisket burgers, all-beef hot dogs, street corn on the cob and specialty drinks. Complimentary family activities and face painting are also available. This offering is open to the public and does not require a hotel reservation.

At Disneyland Hotel, on July 4 only, from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., hotel Guests participate in family activities, live music, complimentary face painting, caricatures and tasty delights on the hotel’s Magic Kingdom Lawn.

At the Downtown Disney District, guests will discover an array of patriotic delights. Wetzel’s Pretzels will offer a Frozen Cherry Boba Lemonade, Splitsville Luxury Lanes will offer the Firecracker Cocktail, grab a Berry Ice Cream at Salt & Straw, a 4th of July Box or Americana Mini Sampler at Sprinkles and finally try the Red, White & Blue Cake Shake from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes.
