Free Dining Is Back at Walt Disney World for Summer 2019
Happy New Year, Disney fans….Free Dining is back! Here are the details:
Valid dates of travel are July 5 through September 30, 2019 (most nights). Check in must occur during this time frame to receive free dining for the entire length of stay.
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts will receive the Disney Dining Plan free. Moderate and Value resorts will receive the Quick-Service Dining Plan for free. Dining plans can be upgraded by paying the difference.
All guests must be on the same package, which must include a minimum 4-day theme park ticket. Tickets must also include the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus option. There is also a minimum 4-night stay required.
Campsites, 3-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Bungalows at Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and the Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are not eligible for this offer. Additionally, this offer is not available at Port Orleans French Quarter or All-Star Movies.
This offer can be booked on the phone, online, or with your travel agent. This offer is available to be booked only until February 10, 2019.
Availability on this offer is extremely limited–the early booking bird gets the worm, so if you want to take advantage of this, the time to book is now.
Is this the first time All Star Movies has been excluded from such a promotion? Can’t remember them ever coming up before.
Hi Amy! It doesn’t happen often, but I have seen All-Star Movies excluded in the more-recent past from promotions!
Heather,
If I already got the room (no dining plan) through Small World Travel (who are awesome btw) and tickets for 4+ days through Undercover, could we still upgrade? What would the additional dollars be for the Park Hopper Add-on for 3 adults and 1 child? Is that the cost delta I’d need to know (vs getting the same quick service for the same people)?
Thanks,
KC
Hi KC,
The free dining promotion does require a minimum 4-day park ticket as part of your package. You’ll want to check with your travel agent on all the details!
If you buy discounted park tickets from a third party retailer, you can’t get the free dining, even if you bought park hoppers. If you get a discounted room (from Disney or anywhere else), you can’t get free dining. You have to pay full price for park hoppers and full rack rate for the room, THEN you might possibly qualify for free dining.
