Frozen Ever After to Debut at Epcot in June
For those who have been waiting anxiously to get to experience the upcoming Frozen attraction at Epcot, you will only have to wait a little bit longer.
While a set date has not officially been announced, Frozen Ever After will debut in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot this June.
The attraction’s timeline will occur after the film takes place, taking guests on a boat tour through Arendelle during a “Winter in Summer” celebration. Queen Elsa who has embraced will create a winter-in-summer day and during the adventure Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, trolls and Marshmallow join Guests on their boat journey through the frozen willow forest, past Troll Valley and up to the North Mountain to Elsa’s ice palace, returning to the Bay of Arendelle. During the attraction, Guests will even be able to witness Elsa’s ice magic and experience incredible AudioAnamatronics.
To bring this attraction to life, the original voice talent of the film returned to record new dialogue and new songs lyrics were written by composers Bobby and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
After disembarking the attraction, guests can meet the royal sisters in their new Royal Sommerhus greeting location. They Royal Sommerhus is Anna and Elsa’s summer home that was opened for visitors and was inspired by a Norwegian countryside cabin.
Stay tuned to the blog for the announcement of the exact opening date of the new Frozen attractions.
June is looking to be a great time to experience Walt Disney World, because what better time to celebrate than in summer? (You knew I had to throw in one bad pun right?)
I know this probably has been asked before but will Anna and Elsa vacate Princess Fairytale Hall at MK once this attraction is up and running? And any word on how the Fast pass+ tiers will be updated at Epcot once Frozen Ever After is open?
I can answer the first question…sort of. Rumors have indicated that Anna and Elsa will be vacating Princess Fairytale Hall, however, that has not been confirmed yet.
Best start queuing now…
