Be Our Guest Restaurant To Accept Reservations for Lunch

Be Our Guest RestaurantIt’s official! There is going to be a change with the way lunch is handled at Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom. The New Fantasyland dining establishment will no longer offer FastPass+ reservations. Instead, beginning on February 25, all Guests will be able to make their dining reservation for the counter service lunch option by visiting www.mydisneyexperience.com or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Once a Guest has made a reservation, they will have the option to pre-order their meals through their My Disney Experience account. A link will be provided via the Guest’s confirmation email or the pre-order option can be accessed through a Guest’s My Disney Experience  profile under “My Reservations.” Guests will have the option to pre-order their dining selections anywhere from 30 days to 5 minutes prior to their reservation. Do keep in mind that pre-ordering your meal is not mandatory, so guests will still have the option to place their order upon arrival at kiosks found inside the restaurant.

For those wishing to dine here at dinner, the restaurant will continue to offer a table service option, and guests will need to make a Dining Reservation.

  • Will this be effective at midnight EST on Feb. 25 or later in the day?

    Thanks!

  • So we will be making the actual reservation 30 days out, or is that just the opening for ordering food? I guess I was thinking the reservation would be made at 180 days out like an ADR. I want to dine there on May 1st and was assuming I could book on 2/25 since it’s within the 180 day period. Do we know for sure yet?

  • For those of us who are proud to be park commandos and who enjoy planning our vacations to the Nth degree, we can now proudly state that not only do we know exactly where we’ll be eating 180 days from now and at exactly what time, but that we have *already ordered our meal, too.*
I may need professional help for this affliction. :-/

    • That sounds awesome for all the Type A’s out there like me!

  • The link where we will make the ressie does not work. Is the correct?

  • So these lunch “reservations” will not be considered an ADR – I assume there is no per-person cancelation penalty inside of 24 hours then? Sounds like it’s basically a FastPass but just not being named as such?

  • Will resort guests have the extra 10 day booking window?

  • It sounds like they have been planning this for some time now and I think it is a wonderful idea. It just seems like we need more information about the specifics regarding when to book and if they still will allow walk ins. Looking forward to hearing more scoop!

  • When can we book? We are there that week and it would be great if we could book before hand

  • Will guests still be able to wait in line to eat lunch here without a reservation?

  • Do you know if this will apply to off site guests as well?

    • Yes. All Guests will be able to make reservations beginning February 25.
