Here’s How to Celebrate Every Day in July at Walt Disney World

Here is our list of offbeat (and not-so-offbeat) holidays in July with suggestions about how to observe them while you’re visiting Walt Disney World. As a nod to the opening of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival on July 15, we’ve included July FOOD holidays as well – how you choose to observe those are totally up to you, but you’re in the right place for all things food! So let the daily celebrations (and snacking) begin!!

July 1 – Canada Day

Visit the Canadian Pavilion in World Showcase and enjoy the beautiful gardens and landscaping.

National Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day

July 2 – World UFO Day

Ride the Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land.

National Anisette Day (whatever “anisette” may be…but it’s the only food holiday on July 2!)

July 3 – National Hop-A-Park Day

Seems like the perfect day to go Park Hopping!

National Chocolate Wafer Day/Eat Beans Day

July 4 – Independence Day

See the American Adventure, “a show like no other – just like the country that inspired it!”

National BBQ Day

 

July 5 – National Bikini Day

The water parks and pools are calling, so grab your suit (and sunscreen)!

National Graham Cracker Day/Apple Turnover Day

July 6 – International Kissing Day

Sneak a smooch from your Lovie while a photographer snaps the action!

National Fried Chicken Day

July 7 – Tell the Truth Day

No lie – you should grab a bite at Pinocchio Village House and watch folks ride “it’s a small world.”

World Chocolate Day/National Macaroni Day/National Strawberry Sundae Day

July 8 – National Video Game Day

Take a ride on Toy Story Midway Mania or Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

National Chocolate With Almonds Day/National Freezer Pop Day

July 9 – Fashion Day

Perfect time go Disney Bounding (remember to post a pic on IG  with #disneybounding).

National Sugar Cookie Day

July 10 – Teddy Bear Picnic Day

Sounds like time for the Country Bear Jamboree (and where’s Duffy these days?).

A great time to visit the French Pavilion (and enjoy everything that’s new there!).

July 15 – National Give Something Away Day

Pin traders, your day is here! Swap, share, or just surprise someone!

Pin Trading at Discovery Island Disney’s Animal Kingdom

July 16 – World Snake Day

Observe snakes (and more) at the Conservation Station in Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom.

National Corn Fritters Day/Fresh Spinach Day

July 17 – National Lottery Day

Try to get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance (it’s like winning the lottery).

National Peach Ice Cream Day

July 18 – World Listening Day

Listen when you’re told, “Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas.”

Why shouldn’t you give Elsa a balloon? Because she’ll let it go!

National Tequila Day

July 25 – National Carousel Day

Ride Prince Charming Regal Carrousel (but read Everything You Need to Know about it first).

National Hot Fudge Sundae Day/Wine and Cheese Day (Now, if only there were some kind of festival to attend somewhere at Walt Disney World that offered wine and cheese…)

July 26 – National Aunt and Uncles Day

Classic characters deserving recognition include Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Scrooge McDuck, and even Jiminy Cricket – so wish them a good day!

Bagelfest Day/World Tofu Day/National Coffee Milkshake Day

July 27 – Take Your Pants For a Walk Day

Put ‘em on and hike around the World! (Sorry, Donald!)

National Chicken Finger Day/Crème Brûlée Day/National Scotch Day

July 28 – National Waterpark Day

July 29 – International Tiger Day
