Arguably the best Easter egg creation in the history of Walt Disney World is currently on display at the Contemporary Resort.

Muppet Easter egg display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

We’re all still watching The Muppet Show with Sabrina Carpenter on repeat, right? Well, if you’re still getting weepy at the opening song, it might be worth a visit to the lobby of the Contemporary to check out our favorite Muppets in egg form.

Miss Piggy, left, and Jim Hill with Len Testa, right.

The clamshell footlights illuminating our queen, Miss Piggy, are almost as marvelous as her shoes. A Blanche Devereaux dream in shiny silver! We’d like to imagine the brilliant folks who designed these sculptures were listening to the secret playlist surely being curated for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets.

You do not need to be a guest at the Contemporary to view this display. You can take the monorail from the Magic Kingdom, or just take the short walk over. The eggs are located on the ground floor right next to Steakhouse 71.

What a sweet way to celebrate the evolution of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Disney has announced the ride will reopen this summer. Are you planning a visit around the reopening date?
