My New Favorite Disney World Souvenir Finds
I don’t know about you, but souvenir shopping is a huge part of my Disney World Vacations. I always enjoy browsing through the stores at the parks and resorts for new merchandise; and during my past few trips to Disney World this year, I have discovered some magical, new items. So take a look at just a few of my new favorite Disney World souvenir finds!
Little Mermaid Mouse Ears – $19.00
As a huge Little Mermaid fan, I was thrilled when I came across these Little Mermaid Mouse Ears! I had seen the Belle and Cinderella themed Mouse Ears before, but this design is by far my favorite. I especially like the pearl accents! Surprisingly, I only found this twist on Disney’s classic headgear at Epcot’s Mouse Gear and Downtown Disney’s World of Disney Store during my most recent trip to Disney World, but hopefully that has changed. After all, who wouldn’t want to sport these ears around the parks, right?
Disney Castle Tote $39.95
Everyone loves the Disney Dooney and Bourke and Vera Bradley bags at Disney World, but this particular find is definitely worth a look too. I first saw this tote earlier this year and thought it would make the perfect souvenir. Avid Disney fans may be interested to note the vintage Disney stamps and Walt’s stitched signature! In addition to this tote, there’s also a small, cross body bag and wallet featuring the same design as well; but you really can’t beat the tote for its space.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Pin – $11.95
The Magic Kingdom’s new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is incredibly popular and the perfect final installment to New Fantasyland. The Magic Kingdom hasn’t had a new coaster or thrill ride in awhile, so I’ve been pretty excited; and by the looks of the wait times these past few months, so has everyone else! To commemorate my first ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, I bought this pin for my personal collection. The best part? The mine cart swings back and forth, just like the mine carts on the ride!
The Grey Stuff Dessert Plate – $12.95
Have you heard about Downtown Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op? It actually opened just this past summer and offers a variety of new products and collections. One of the most popular collections has been the black and white, chalkboard-style home and kitchenware. One of my favorites out this collection has to the Be Our Guest Grey Stuff Dessert Plate. You see, the Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant offers a dessert called the Grey Stuff, a clever reference to the “Be Our Guest” song from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast film. This plate is a cute little reminder of my Be our Guest dinner and looks great in my kitchen!
Elsa Shoe Ornament – $23.95
Disney’s shoe ornaments are very popular at Disney World, regardless of what time of year it is; but that popularity has gone to a new level seeing how Disney has created new designs themed after Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen! The Elsa shoe is my favorite because it’s so intricate and perfectly captures the character of Elsa. Also, underneath the shoe, you can find Elsa’s small signature! How could I not bring this home to add to my Christmas tree?
Beast Plush
“Who could ever learn to love a Beast?” With such a sweet, cuddly Beast, who wouldn’t love him? I found these plush Beasts at Bonjour Village Gifts at the Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland. Unfortunately, I don’t remember how much they cost, but wouldn’t this be the perfect accessory for a little princess’ Belle dress?
Character Mugs – $18.95
You can’t ever have too many mugs, and they make the perfect souvenirs to bring home to those back in the real world; but now, there are new mug designs to choose from which perfectly capture a few of my favorite Disney characters. They also include each character’s unique signature inside the rim of the mug too. I can’t decide if I like the Jasmine or Rapunzel mug better. What do you think?
Lumiere Light-Up Figure – $49.95
This just may be the best nightlight ever invented! It’s a Lumiere from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast that actually lights up! My thinking is that if it belongs in the Beast’s Enchanted Castle, it should belong in your house too.
Prince Tee $24.95
In addition to this men’s tee, there’s also a version for women which reads “I’ll Be Your Princess.” How perfect is this for couples or even those on their honeymoon at Disney World?
Marketplace Co-Op Chalkboard – $34.95
I already mentioned how much I love Downtown Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op’s black and white, chalkboard collection; but while most of the items are tailored for the kitchen, this cute chalkboard can be used anywhere in the house. The little castle is just perfect and the banner overhead gives you the freedom to write whatever you like.
So these are a few of my new favorite Disney World souvenir finds and several of them I brought home with me! Which of these would you bring home with you?
Love the Beast, I might just have to buy me one of those.
Holy cow, I want that chalkboard! And the Rapunzel mug! Why did I ever leave Florida?!
Where did you see the tote? I’d love to get one of those to get autographed on our next trip!
Jennifer, I found the tote at Epcot’s Mouse Gear store; but you probably could find it at World of Disney Store or TrenD at Downtown Disney or the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom.
Thanks!
